REMEMBER THE ALAMO… AND THE “WALKOUT”

By Todd Vaughn:

We just lost a handful of our most conservative Republican State Senators… the ones who were willing to sacrifice their political careers for what we all believe in. Our leftist Oregon Supreme Court recently interpreted Measure 113 the way our leftist Majority demanded, and the message from the Dems is loud and clear: “Do not try to stand in the way of this avalanche… we will bury you. But if you “play nice,” we will allow your legislators to bring home some of “the bacon” that we don’t mind sharing with Republicans who know their place.”

So, who are the Republicans who “know their place?” Well, that’s easy! Every single one of them that refused to walk out… and every single one that came back before their 10 absences, and gave quorum. These guys waved the white flag instead of the “red, white, and blue,” and no amount of rationalization changes that. These Senators are compromised self-preservationists, and they irrevocably damaged our cause. Now they are empowered to take minority leadership positions in our Oregon Senate. Was this a preplanned sabotage between members of our own ranks and the haters of the Constitution?

 Hmmm… one must wonder!

Personally, I’ve already come to my conclusions, and that is why I am running against David Brock Smith (who did not walk out) for the SD1 Senate seat. I ran against him when he was appointed one year ago, and to say that we should be unimpressed with his performance is an understatement. Brock Smith is cagey, but do not be fooled by appearances and political posturing. Do some research for yourself… and choose wisely!
