Doug Washington Bio:
Doug Washington is an expert at fishing, hunting, gathering, camping, bum removal, mixed martial arts fighting, and geopolitical affairs affecting people living in southern Oregon. Most people do not know this about Doug, but he is an accomplished jazz musician and tap dancer.
Doug is a patriotic American Superhero striving to keep his way of life while battling the evils plaguing society. For several years he worked as a secret spy for American forces fighting against the never-ending dangers facing our country. Doug volunteered as a NASA scientist and was the first human to successfully terraform one of Saturn’s moons and fish in the newly created oceans. He put in a great effort to make sure there were sunflowers on every corner.
Afterward, he did a short stint as a world-renowned brain surgeon at the Mayo Clinic where he had limited success at curing the dreaded brain disease of progressivism. When he is not creating new worlds or curing diseases he continues to bring attention to the criminals and crime in our area, while still finding the time to make award-winning films of the Oregon great outdoors. He won an Oscar in the category of documentary for his short film that answered the long unknown question, “Does a Bear Shit in the Woods,” which went on to become one of the most-watched documentaries in history.
However, with all his talents Doug remains a down-to-earth humble realist living with his wife and daughters here in Coos County. He was formally known as Basin Tackle Rob the owner of Basin Tackle, which was located in the Charleston Marina.
