WHY I STARTED COMPETING IN PAGEANTS

It was something I had never done before and I’m always trying new things. It felt like a good way to improve myself and help out in my community. It allows me to experience a community outside of my comfort zone and allow me to speak up for things I believe in.

I love to dance, throw axes, read young adult fiction, and spend my days reading by the river.

ABOUT

I work with LGBTQ2SIA+ students with disabilities as a mentor to help them through their life experiences. I plan to finish my bachelors degree in the fall of 2024 and then work on my masters in teaching for high school English. I will eventually get my endorsement for physical education and coach high school speech and debate.
I want to expand the scope of femininity within the world of pageantry to include punk, alternative styles, and genderqueer individuals.
